I like how you don't give all that sweet talk and tell it as is. splendid work though, i agree if you have basic knowledge of those programs then you can understand the way it was created again great work.

Nice tut

I'm guessing it's a bit the same way you did your work, like Cosmos set, bit with a more advanced 3d-model?

No, cosmos-set, as i remeber, just standart "3d abstract way" - you make something like several spheres, maybe extrude some poligons on different angles, after that swirl, taper, twist etc modifier :)
Put chrome texture or somthing more complex, and render. Make several that things and compose result in photoshop. You can find many tutorial about "abstract render" or so in tutorial section of dA.

Thank you so much for sharing  It's really great. I've used Photoshop for some time, but only dabbled with 3D max before and this opened up my eyes to alot of new opportunities.

Nice tutorial! Very handy for beginners. I could see straight away how you created this but then I've been using 3D programs for about 5 years now. Keep up the awesome work!

I love it, and I am considering the possibility of making one with glass effects (may be using vector drawing instead of 3d designs, seems tedious but will look great.)

This is very good! :)

Question: Is it okay if I add to your style to create my own style to make prints to sell? I would of course variate from your style and come up with my own, but you have inspired me! So you would not think I was stealing, I hope?

All, what you make - it all. You have copyright on all, what you make by self. And can sell and anything.

What I mean is, if I use your tutorial to make original print of my own, and sell, that would be alright with you, correct?
